Help and frequently asked questions
Answers to what we are asked most: licensing, printing, formats, revisions, privacy and contributions. If your question is not here, write to info@tooranceat.digital and quote the record identifier — the code beginning TL, TP, RC or DL — if your question is about a specific resource.

Using the catalogue
4 questions
Yes. Every tool, template, guide and download in the catalogue is free to use, print and share. There is no account, no trial period and no paid tier holding back a better version. We do not sell the resources, and we do not sell access to the people who use them.
No. Nothing in the catalogue is placed behind a sign-up form. You can browse, preview and download without giving us any personal information. The only time we ask for contact details is when you choose to write to us, and then only so we can reply.
Yes. You can use our resources in a workplace, a classroom, a community group or a client engagement, and you can print as many copies as you need. What you cannot do is repackage the files and sell them, or present them as your own work. The full position is set out in our terms of use.
Please do. Templates that ship in DOCX or XLSX form are meant to be edited. If a section does not fit how you work, remove it. If you make a change that would help other people, tell us — several revisions in the catalogue started as a message from someone who had reworked a sheet for their own use.
Files, formats and printing
3 questions
Most resources are PDF, because a PDF prints predictably on any printer. Templates intended for editing are also published as DOCX or XLSX. The complete collection is available as a single ZIP archive. We do not publish in proprietary formats that require a specific paid application.
Yes. Since the July 2026 revision, every A4 template ships with a Letter-size equivalent inside the same file, so North American and international paper sizes are both covered. Print at 100 percent rather than “fit to page”, which rescales the grid and misaligns the rules.
We publish a scheduled revision at the start of each month and a smaller correction release mid-month when one is needed. Every change is recorded on the updates page with a date, a version and a description of what moved. Individual records carry their own revision numbers so you can tell whether the copy you saved is current.
Editorial and publishing
3 questions
Three sources, in order: gaps we find while using the catalogue ourselves, recurring requests from people who write to us, and areas where the existing material gives advice without giving a usable sheet to act on it. We do not publish a resource because a topic is popular if we cannot say something specific and practical about it.
Our editorial team, all of whom work in planning, instructional design or operations. Every guide is drafted by one person, reviewed by a second, and tested against the templates it refers to before publication. Guides carry a last-reviewed date, and anything older than eighteen months is either revised or withdrawn.
No. Our resources are practical planning material, not professional advice. The budget worksheets in particular are organisational tools, not financial guidance, and they do not account for individual circumstances or tax treatment. For decisions with financial, legal, medical or employment consequences, speak to a qualified professional.
Privacy, sharing and contributions
6 questions
We use a small amount of aggregate measurement to understand which resources are used and where pages fail, and we do not run advertising, behavioural profiling or third-party trackers. The cookie notice lists exactly what is set and why, and the privacy notice explains what we hold and for how long.
Yes, and we would prefer a link to a copy. Linking means people reach the current revision rather than a version that has since been corrected. If you need to distribute files directly — in a classroom without reliable internet, for example — that is fine too.
A selection is. Our correspondence is handled in English and French, and translated templates are published as they are reviewed rather than machine-translated in bulk. The updates page notes when a French version of a record is added.
It depends on the size of the change. Minor revisions correct margins, contrast or wording. Structural revisions change sections or fields, and those are described on the updates page. If your saved copy still works for you, keep using it — nothing expires.
Write to us with the record identifier — the code beginning TL, TP, RC or DL shown on every record — along with the browser or application you were using. Identified faults are fixed in the next correction release, and serious ones are published immediately.
Yes. We accept suggestions, corrections and drafts by email. Contributions are reviewed by the editorial team and published under the same terms as the rest of the catalogue, with a credit line if you want one. We cannot pay for contributions.

Report a fault
Send the record identifier and the browser or application you were using. Identified faults are fixed in the next correction release.
Request a resource
Recurring requests shape each month's release. Tell us the problem you are trying to solve rather than the sheet you imagine.
Report a barrier
Accessibility problems are treated as faults, not feature requests. See our accessibility statement for the escalation route.
