Agreement to these terms

By using tooranceat.digital and the resources published on it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.

How you may use our resources

Every tool, template, worksheet, guide and download published here is provided free of charge for personal, educational, community and internal workplace use. Specifically, you may:

• Download and print as many copies as you need, for yourself or for a group.
• Use the resources with students, clients, colleagues, patients, congregations or a household.
• Edit the DOCX and XLSX versions to fit how you actually work.
• Include our material in course packs, staff handbooks and internal documentation, with a credit line naming Tooranceat and the record identifier.
• Link to any page or record on the site without asking us first.

What you may not do

• Sell our resources, or sell access to them, including as part of a paid bundle, course platform or membership.
• Present our work as your own, or remove record identifiers, revision numbers or attribution.
• Republish the catalogue, or a substantial part of it, as a competing download library.
• Use automated systems to scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people.
• Use our published material to train a commercial machine-learning model without our written permission.

If you are not sure whether a use is permitted, write and ask. We answer permissions questions within five business days and the answer is usually yes.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, layouts, illustrations, code and the Tooranceat name and mark — belongs to Tooranceat unless stated otherwise on the record. Granting you a free licence to use the resources does not transfer ownership of them.

Where a resource incorporates material from a third party, that is noted on the record together with its own terms. If you believe something published here infringes your rights, write to us with the record identifier and we will review it promptly; where the claim is well-founded we withdraw the material first and correspond afterwards.

The nature of what we publish

Our resources are practical planning material. They are not professional advice, and they are not a substitute for it. The budget worksheets are organisational tools rather than financial guidance; the planning guides describe general methods rather than instructions for your circumstances. Please read the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Resources may be revised, superseded or withdrawn. Records are withdrawn rather than deleted, so a link to a withdrawn record explains what happened and points to a replacement.

These terms may change. The current version and its effective date appear at the top of this page, and material changes are announced on the updates page.

Limitation of liability

The resources are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tooranceat is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or its resources — including lost profits, missed deadlines or decisions made in reliance on our material.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusions apply only so far as that jurisdiction permits.

We link to external sites where they are genuinely useful. We do not control them, do not endorse their content by linking, and are not responsible for their practices. Check the privacy and terms of any site you follow a link to.
